The heart on ZIKY’s chest stands for love and feeling; the kiss mark on the cheek stands for wanting to be loved. ZIKY carries both on its body, and stands there anyway.
Lee Ji Ho makes the character ZIKY. Every stage — the original sculpt, the mould, the paint — is done by hand, and each piece is produced in a small edition rather than a run.
Work is released two ways. Editions go up for auction; everything else, sold or not, stays in the archive as a record.
